"Todd and Misty were super knowledgeable and efficient getting a Renters Policy drawn up SAME afternoon for my son who will be in his 1 st apartment at VA TECH ! "Absolutely terrible experience. Avoid this agency and State Farm at all costs. Todd Selkirk’s office is quick to sell policies but fails miserably when it comes to support or knowledge during the claims process. When you actually need help, they pass you off and take zero accountability. The staff often doesn’t even understand the policies they’re selling, and when you ask for specifics, you’re met with vague answers or told to call someone else. To make matters worse, State Farm insists on using a third-party company paid directly by them to evaluate damages. Despite my multiple offers to provide a neutral and unbiased assessment through a licensed contractor of my choosing, they absolutely refused. It’s obvious they don’t want fairness they want control over the outcome. This isn’t just unprofessional, it’s dishonest. If you’re thinking about trusting this agency or this company with your home or livelihood, don’t. They’ll gladly take your premiums, but when something goes wrong, you’re on your own."
